Upon closer inspection, it proved to be a Citroen 2cv produced around 1950 and one of the most popular cars in the world after the second world war.
Now I know that cars do not have souls, but they do have personalities. And, this faithful, little servant certainly proved it.
As I took a picture of it I knew that someday I had to paint it---a portrait of usefulness.
